Biography
Appearances 9 (League 7)
Stepped up from the reserves to help out in defence during 1996/97 season, with the first team tired from a heavy schedule. Following scattered further appearances over the next season or so, was appointed assistant manager by Steve Wheeler in 1998 pre-season and turned out in midfield, but soon 'went to do his F A coaching badge' (i.e. was dropped) and left. Won possibly the most outrageous penalty in Boro's history, by tripping his own team-mate Danny Benstock in Leyton Pennant's penalty area.
