Biography
Appearances 27 (League 24)
Goals 5 (League 5)
Joined from Ford United where he wasn’t getting a sniff in the first team, but pulled a hamstring playing Sunday football the day after his Romford debut and was out for two months. Had suspect temperament and always had problems with fitness, but knew a few tricks and was difficult to defend against. Went in goal during the Isle of Wight trip and still spent more time in the opposition’s box than his own. Was soon joined at the Club by father Tommy, who became assistant manager, and brother Francis. Endeared himself to the Aylesbury United supporters by doing the duck-walk in front of them when Manzi Mbala scored the winner there. Probably found his level at Leyton Pennant in Division Two and went with Amin Levitt back to Aveley.
