Bulldog striker with a fiery temperament. Opened his Boro career by scoring in seven straight games starting in pre-season - would have had a hat-trick in his first game at Cardiff Civil Service but for a late penalty miss. Aggravated a hamstring injury celebrating his winning goal at home to Canvey Island in February 1994, which ended the defending champions' unbeaten record. Missed the start of the following season having incurred a lengthy suspension, but set a Club record by scoring in five consecutive games from December to February. Legend has it that at the Essex Senior League's dinner and dance in 1994, the mere mention of his name caused every single person on the adjacent referees' table to look round simultaneously. Later rejoined Lyndon Lynch at Clapton.
