Made one pre-season appearance against Dulwich Hamlet but became the first Boro goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet on his debut since Allen McKnight in 1995. Shared duties with Stuart Horne as Romford saw out their time in the Ryman League. Got an unexpected chance to stake a regular spot when Marc Baker broke his finger in the following pre-season, but still had to make way and went to Aveley. Returned the following autumn but was displaced on Stuart Horne's return from injury and left under a cloud.
