Biography
Appearances 37 (League 26)
Experienced goalkeeper who returned to Senior football after a spell with Harold Wood Athletic. Missed the start of the season after breaking a finger in a friendly, but soon proved to be probably the most reliable ‘keeper the Club had ever seen. Made his mark with a phenomenal display at Barkingside to keep a clean sheet, which was in itself enough to win the Manager’s Player of the Year award. Was part of the defence that broke the Club record for consecutive clean sheets (six), although missed part of one of those games after being carried off injured at Ilford - his dad drove to the hospital, not realising that Marc was never actually taken away from the ground. Followed Paul Joynes to Tilbury at the end of the season.
