Joined from Stansted i nJanuary 2004 and made an instant impact by setting up both goals on his debut and proved to be a driving force in midfield. Suffered a recurring foot injury at the start of the following season. Disappeared from the scene in January 2005, expressing reservations about the arrival of the Cowley brothers in the squad. Showed his face at the Club occasionally for the remainder of the season but didn't return to the squad until the following pre-season. Scored Boro's first goal of the season for the second season running, on the opening day of the 2005-06 season at Burnham Ramblers, but quickly found himself out of favour again.
