Reserve goalkeeper who stepped in when Stuart Horne was suspended and acquitted himself well at Bashley, spoiling it slightly with a sliced clearance to give away the winner. Good reflexes but positioning let him down occasionally, and appeared to lose confidence during the following pre-season and went to Bowers United. Returned at short notice with all the goalkeepers injured in April 2001, sharing the goalkeeper’s duties with Stuart Horne to see Boro through an immense fixture backlog. Drew praise from the Braintree Town supporters despite conceding ten.
