Centre-back who joined from Aveley in pre-season of 1998, managed to equal the feat of Tony Sorrell and Troy Braham by getting three red cards in a season, doing so in record time. Third one followed a skirmish with Canvey, which left him needing emergency surgery to his hand the following day, partly to stem blood poisoning. Proved impossible to knock down forever though, and battled on through many injuries to hit his best-ever form in 2000-01 season, being awarded the captaincy only for the Club to be suspended in December. Was released along with the rest of the squad and probably would have returned when the suspension was lifted in January, if not for his already having a regular place at Tilbury.
