Biography

Appearances 7 (League 4)

Goalkeeper who made his debut at the age of seventeen, each of his first two appearances being as a substitute for Neil Finn with Boro safely ahead in League Cup ties, and barely being stretched on either occasion. Made a longer appearance when replacing the injured Finn after eight minutes at Barkingside in the New Year. Was often on the bench for the first team for the remainder of the season and won the youth team Manager's Player of the Year award. Alternated with Stacey Bowtell as substitute 'keeper for the first team in the autumn of 2005, and replaced Finn again, also against Barkingside. Deputised until Finn returned in time for the next round of the F A Vase and kept his first clean sheet in a League Cup win over Eton Manor that kept alive Boro's interest in the competition. Suffered a torrid afternoon at Waltham Abbey and never appeared again, moving to Brentwood Town in the New Year.
