Appearances 27 (League 13)Centre-back who was a reserve team stalwart and won the Players’ Player of the Year for the reserves in 1997-98 under Steve Wheeler. Did surprisingly well when elevated to the first team squad the following season at the age of 33. Sorely lacking in pace but often came up with an excellent long forward pass to set up a quick attack.
