Joined from Aveley in the 2005 pre-season and started well in the reserves. Became only the fourth player ever to score twice on his Romford debut, both in the last four minutes as Boro came from behind to win 3-2. Was named to start in every league game for the remainder of the season. Established his place in the first-choice strike pairing with Petrit Elbi, and overtook his previous season's tally in January. Was briefly usurped as top scorer by Elbi, responding with a four-goal show in his next match to take him to 25 for the season and Boro into the League Cup Final. Suddenly ran out of steam in front of goal and didn't score again all season, missing a penalty on the last day of the league season against Brentwood Town, and another in the penalty shoot-out against the same opposition in the League Cup Final.
