Former Celtic, West Ham United and Northern Ireland goalkeeper once known as 'McKnightmare'. Joined Boro from Collier Row's Division Three championship side and helped them to two championships. Scored from a clearance at Barking without even realising it was his goal, and swapped places with Mark Reed at Leighton Town after dislocating a finger. His presence in the box led to the equaliser, and again at Horsham when coming up for a corner during the legendary late comeback (calling "keeper's ball" probably had something to do with it).
