Fourth Round draw imminent!

Following wins over Coggeshall United, Stanway Pegasus, and Waltham Abbey, Boro are in the draw for the Fourth Round of the BBC Essex Senior Cup.

The Third Round ties were concluded following last night’s fixtures. The full results of all Third Round ties were as follows:

Romford 1, Waltham Abbey 1 (Romford won 8-7 on penalties)
Brightlingsea Regent 1, Hornchurch 3
Maldon & Tiptree 2, Braintree Town 4
Bowers & Pitsea 0, Heybridge Swifts 0 (Bowers & Pitsea won 5-4 on penalties)
Harlow Town 3, Basildon United 2
Coggeshall Town 3, Hullbridge Sports 1
Southend United 3, Brentwood Town 0
Tilbury 0, East Thurrock United 2
Dagenham & Redbridge 1, Colchester United 1 (Colchester United won 5-3 on penalties)
West Essex 0, Billericay Town 3
Great Wakering Rovers 0, Chelmsford City 2
Concord Rangers 1, Aveley 1 (Concord Rangers won 4-2 on penalties)
Hashtag United 1, Canvey Island 1 (Canvey Island won 5-3 on penalties)
Basildon Town 1, Grays Athletic 3
Saffron Walden Town 2, Walthamstow 1
Witham Town 0, Stansted 0 (Witham Town won 7-6 on penalties)

Colchester United, the county’s only remaining Football League side, are still in the competition, while the lowest ranked sides in the hat for the draw are Boro and our fellow ESL side, Saffron Walden Town.
